The Partnerships Team is responsible for creating and managing relationships with strategic partners that support Mysten Labs’ ecosystem.  We’re looking for a business development professional who will create and manage strategic partnerships that support Mysten Labs’ growth efforts in Asia.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and operationalize a comprehensive partnerships strategy that help power Mysten Labs’ products. Spanning a broad range of partner types: gaming, payments, commerce, crypto and finance.
  • Develop and apply your insights to identify impactful partnership opportunities.
  • Establish commercial relationships with partners within timeframes required to support the product roadmap.
  • Maintain healthy and productive relationships with partners, establishing shared milestones and KPIs and resolving business, policy and technical issues.
  • Lead deal initiatives, determining the right approach, sizing and scoping the opportunities, identifying risks and ways to mitigate them, and driving the plan for execution.
  • Work cross functionally with key stakeholders, e.g. finance, legal, compliance, security, to coordinate pilots, operationalize partnerships, set business goals and coordinate success metrics.
  • Contribute to the broader success of the team by refining processes and helping recruit awesome talent.

What You’ll Have:

  • 6+ Years of business development, product management, strategic account management, bizops, post-investment management, or partner enablement experience.
  • Fluency in English and Southeastern Asian languages is required.
  • You are a creative problem solver who embraces change and ambiguity. You know how to navigate within highly regulated and/or ambiguous landscapes.
  • You have great commercial and product instincts.
  • You love learning, especially bleeding edge tech like DeFi, NFTs, DAOs and Web3.
  • You are a strong communicator comfortable presenting to senior executives internally and externally.
  • You want to be part of a winning team. You truly want to be a master of your craft and motivate others to do the same.
