Senior Front End Engineer

We want our insights to teach creators something new about their collectors, inspire their next NFT drop, or even help bring their community closer together through aggregate wallet analysis. Our vision is to build a modular and visual analytics dashboard highlighting key insights for creators.

Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be an integral part of our dedicated and expanding team working on a desktop application that is also optimized for mobile and tablet devices. The ideal candidate should have a passion for front-end development, a strong understanding of modern web technologies, and a track record of delivering exceptional mobile user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead the development of front-end solutions using React, TypeScript, and Next.js, ensuring best practices, performance, and code quality.
• Optimize web applications for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
• Collaborate with designers, full stack engineers, and back-end engineers to implement new features and enhance existing functionalities.
• Design and implement scalable and maintainable front-end architectures for large-scale applications.
• Debugging and optimizing critical performance issues across different browsers and devices.
• Participating in code reviews to maintain high-quality code.
• You should have experience with frontend testing and automation frameworks.

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or a related major, with at least 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in front-end development, specifically focusing on React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Extensive experience in building web applications with React, utilizing component-based architecture and managing state.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, leveraging its features to enhance React applications with static typing and improved code quality.
• Hands-on experience in building server-side rendered (SSR) or statically generated (SSG) web applications using Next.js, achieving enhanced performance and SEO optimization.
• Familiarity with popular libraries and tools within the React ecosystem, such as React Router, Styled Components, and React Testing Library.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous operations in React applications.
• Expertise in frontend performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of modern frontend build pipelines and tools.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and ensuring cross-browser compatibility for both desktop and mobile interfaces.
• Experience Firebase GCP is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, working effectively in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Bonus points for significant contributions to open-source project(s).
• Familiarity with web3 and blockchain technologies is a strong plus.
• Passionate about building a great UI/UX experience through continuous improvements.
