Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure with a strong emphasis on security
- Develop backend systems using Node.js, including API design and database optimisation
- Containerise applications using Docker and deploy them in Kubernetes
- Set up monitoring tools like ELK and Grafana for logging and performance analysis
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with infrastructure
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a DevOps Engineer/Backend Developer
- Strong expertise in AWS services and security practices
- Proficiency in Node.js for backend development
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
- Knowledge of containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and Grafana
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and security assessments
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred qualifications
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
- Experience in the web3 or blockchain industry
