Full-Stack Engineer

Role

As a full-stack engineer with a Backend Focus, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining the backend systems that drive Noise. This includes architecting low-latency APIs and automating cloud infrastructure to handle high-throughput data ingestion and consumption at scale. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to prototype and implement cutting-edge solutions that enhance efficiency, scalability, and system reliability.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Must-Haves:

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering or systems engineering with a strong focus on backend development.
• Proficiency in Golang, Rust, Java, TypeScript, and React.
• Great experience with the AWS stack including DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Cloudwatch, Redshift, Aurora, Athena, etc.
• Great experience with messaging mechanisms, including Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.
• Highly skilled in writing code for ultra-low latency environments for GBs of data processing/second.
• Deep understanding of backend architecture trends, especially in security, performance optimization, cost optimization, monitoring, and usability for large-scale systems.
• Proven track record of developing and deploying high-performance backend systems at massive scale.
• Developed software around best practices for robustness, horizontally scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
