This role will be on the front lines working with our users every day and will partner with our Product team to improve the user experience.

Responsibilites

    • Drive the long-term, strategic vision for turning OpenSea’s values into operable policies
    • Build a team tasked with 24/7 escalation response management
    • Act as the escalation point of contact and manage internal communications for policy issues
    • Regularly audit existing policies and the implementation of those policies to ensure they consistently align to OpenSea’s values
    • Build relationships with cross-functional partners, including Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations, Marketing, Communications, and Legal
    • Articulate policy philosophy, launches, and changes to relevant parties, including management, operations, cross-functional contacts, and external parties
    • Provide guidance to team members on critical escalations of core content policy issues
    • Work with operations groups to develop scalable solutions to support OpenSea’s continued growth and drive key automation and productivity initiatives
    • Proactively identify gaps or conflicts in existing policies and develop scalable solutions

Desired Experience

    • 7-10+ years of relevant moderation and content policy work experience
    • Management experience
    • Experience (formally or informally) with Web3 or NFT communities
