About the Role:

Magic Square, a trendsetter in the Web3 landscape, is in search of an enthusiastic and dedicated English Community Moderator. This full-time, freelance position is designed for individuals with prior experience in a Web3 company and a talent for fostering communities on digital platforms such as Telegram, Discord, Twitter, and Reddit. The English Community Moderator will operate under the guidance of the Community Manager to ensure a positive and engaging environment for all members of our community.

Tasks and Responsibilities: 

• Assist in moderating Magic Square’s communities on Telegram and Discord, ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive atmosphere for all members.
• Contribute to community conversations, stimulate member engagement, and help cultivate a vibrant community culture.
• Provide excellent customer service to community members, responding to comments and customer queries in a timely and structured manner.
• Utilize excellent English writing skills and high conversational proficiency to effectively communicate with community members and prospective customers.
• Familiarize oneself with Magic Square’s company, products, and services, and be able to articulate them lucidly to new users.
• Stay updated with the latest Web3 technologies and trends, applying this knowledge to your role in community moderation and interaction.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating initiative and teamwork in managing tasks and projects.

The ideal candidate – who you are and requirements: 

• Fluency in English.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a Web3 company of at least 1 year.
• Robust knowledge of Web3 and the ability to quickly assimilate information about our company.
• Exceptional English writing skills and high conversational abilities.
• Proven experience in fostering online communities, specifically on Telegram, Twitter, and Reddit.
• Proficiency in Discord, including technical skills such as managing bots and addressing platform-related issues, is a MUST.
• Ability to work from home with your own device and willingness to work within the Indian time zone.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
