We are currently looking for a Community Manger to join our marketing team and meet the challenges of our strong growth!

The Community Manager is primarily responsible for supporting the community engagement plans, including engaging players in conversations on Discord and social channels, and supporting the creation of community content, events and programs. The Community Manager is a creative and passionate gamer, comfortable with online communities and social media, with excellent communication skills, and with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


  • Collaborate on defining and executing the community engagement strategy driven by the Head of Community & Social Media. Ultimately manage our Community management and growth on Discord and other media channels (Telegram, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
  • Plan and implement a daily calendar of community content, events, and activities on various social media platforms designed to keep players engaged with Cometh’s games and programs.
  • Communicate directly with the player base via Discord and other social media channels, and write/review/proof/copyedit outbound communications to ensure readability, alignment and impact.
  • Help stimulate and moderate player conversations across these same channels. Build an identity and develop an active and engaged relationship with players in the fan-base.
  • Create player-facing resources and content such as guides, videos, and FAQs to help enhance and deepen the player experience. Work with multiple internal stakeholders (Development and Marketing), and external agencies to devise and deliver community-centric programs.
  • Assess the community’s pulse and communicate status to internal teams. Establish feedback loops between players and dev teams by reporting on community sentiment, concerns, suggestions, trending topics/threads.
  • Create daily, weekly, and monthly reports capturing a snapshot of overall community health. Track, analyze and report on content and program performance data to drive continuous improvement, optimization, and innovation.*
  • Maintain a strong understanding of competitors’ activity and community/social media trends.


  • 1-3 years experience in a community management role ideally in the video game industry or web3.
  • Previous experience with user moderation in a digital/online environment, including experience working with Discord, forum, or live chat.
  • Strong understanding of social media services, mechanics, and trends, especially Discord, Twitter, Reddit, YouTube
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to create quality communications for internal and external audiences. English language fluency required.
  • High level capability across a balance of creative / strategic thinking, content creation, planning and execution.
  • Proven cross-group collaboration, excellent communications and collaboration skills.
  • Insight-driven: comfortable reading and analyzing data, using it to inform plans, improve and optimize performance.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority and attention to details
  • Demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking in developing new ideas, approaching new and innovative ways of executing,
  • Willingness to be proactive towards issues and help structure the company framework.
  • Rigorous and organized in managing projects and monitoring their deadlines while remaining flexible in order to adapt approach and deal with exceptional situations.
