Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Tech Artist to join our dynamic team in the mobile gaming industry.

As our Tech Artist, you will play a pivotal role in the thriving global launch of our first title. You will be responsible for bridging between the art and development teams, producing high-quality, stylized sci-fi assets such as Characters, Props, and Environments.

You will be responsible for defining and establishing the most effective workflow for our mobile games, supporting artists and engineers in the 3D pipeline ensuring that the final art runs to its full visual resolution respecting the game and mobile specifications.

You will be the technical and artistic vision that holds the project together, ensuring clear communication, effective collaboration, and timely achievement of art milestones, focusing on delivering optimized assets for mobile gaming.

This is a full-time position.

  • Research & Develop the best possible software, tools, methods, and automations to improve and assist the art team in their work.
  • Establish and maintain art production pipeline and workflows in our game world.
  • Produce and maintain documentation on tools, methods, training, and game technical specifications.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, technologies, and tools, sharing insights with the team to drive continuous improvement.
  • Optimize and validate shading, texture, and models to feed into the rendering engine and its limitations.
  • Understanding of rigging/animation and their implementation on game engines.
  • Monitor the performance (frame rate and memory) of the game, assisting in scene optimization, working within the limits of the engine, curating file sizes, polygon counts, merge, atlas, loading speeds, etc…
  • Support the lead and producer in planning and managing your workload to meet project milestones.


  • Having proven previous experience (+5 years) in the entertainment industry. Having launched a game is a plus.
  • Have shader development experience to maintain and optimize the graphics library.
  • Have strong knowledge of VFX, Shader and Particle creation.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard 3D modeling software and tools, such as Unity, Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop, and ZBrush.
  • Solid knowledge of color, lighting, atmosphere & overall composition.
  • knowledge of anatomy, perspective, and volume.
  • Have an aptitude for problem-solving, and decision making, especially regarding art, creativity, and an eye for detail.
  • Collaboration & good skill communication.
  • Ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of independence and an innate intuition for task prioritization.
